Feature film shooting October 2025 to April 2026. The film takes place in various seasons and will be shot over three 1-week blocks and some weekends. Ongoing availability throughout the entire period is important for the characters of Emma, Ashley, and Henry.
Logline: Haley, an alienated, directionless content writer haunted by her past potential, drifts through depression, chronic pain, and distant relationships as she searches for her future.

Producer/Haley: Emily Proctor is an actor and writer, most known for her role as Louise in The Lovers and as The Hippie in The Collins Film. In addition to her acting experience, she is a creative copy and freelance writer with agency experience and social media management. Her claim to fame is that she self-published a novel when she was 12.
Production Location: Filming will take place in Metro Detroit, likely in the Ann Arbor, Ypsilanti, Belleville, and Livonia areas.
Union Status: Non-union
Pay: $175/day. $20/hr for Dr Blank and Dr VanderWeide (only half days needed for each)
Additional Compensation: Travel, lodging, meals included. Profit-sharing based on the number of days worked. The actual value per day is to be determined prior to your deal memo.
Talent location: Metro Detroit/Michigan preferred, open to Chicago and surrounding states.
Rehearsals: The rehearsal process is very important to me, and consistent availability to rehearse at least once a week for a couple months is required for Ashley and Emma. Less rehearsal will be required for other roles and this time period may look different for everyone as the film takes place over multiple seasons.

Ryan: mid to late 20s, he/him, any ethnicity. Haley’s ex-boyfriend from a few years ago, who moved to Chicago with his Midwest emo band. Charming, rugged, and worn-out. Loved Haley, but didn’t know how to care for her. Crushes PBR in a basement.

Tom: late 50s, he/him, white. Margaret’s second husband was, father of Rachel. A bit oblivious of her politics. Has a read every George W. Bush book. Family values.
Dr. Blank: any age 30-60, she/her, any ethnicity. Haley’s General Physician. Straightforward, not very sympathetic with Haley. Thinks it's all in her head. Cold hands. Sterile.
